Just a quick height comparison
First robot rig test! It took so many hours and frustrations finishing the set up of the rig and then the actual animating, and there are so many glitches and wrong things but in general it has a good feel and there’s only a few problems I found that we’ll need to fix on the design of the rig. We’ll need to have a better look at how the stomach and pelvis fit together so they look more together than separate, and also how the legs fit to the pelvis. I now have a whole list of dos and don’ts to pass on to the rest of the team. I’d like to start fresh and do another version in the next few days.
Extremely rough animation test of a bird flying. I was watching crows fly the other day and noticed that from a distance, even though they are just a black silhouette there is still a slight variance between the top and the bottom of the bird as the sun hits the top so all of those bits are lighter than the bottom. I tried to incorporate that into this test in a very bold fashion.
